Sustainable wedding dresses: #WeDoEco the new Pronovias collection

Pronovias launches a selection of sustainable wedding dresses #WeDoEco.

Music for our ears!

We are always so much impressed by ethical companies that decide to pursue the path of sustainability. We cannot think that our daily habits or our purchasing choices have no impact on our planet earth and on those who live there.

That’s why we are pleased to present you #WeDoEco, the new Pronovias collection.
The maison created a new line of sustainable wedding dresses within the existing collections in the portfolio. The launch of #WeDoEco dresses is part of a long-term commitment to push the wedding industry towards more sustainable best practices.
Among the #WeDoEco proposals there are dresses from size 32 to 64 of the various brands of the Pronovias Group portfolio: Atelier Pronovias, Nicole, House of St. Patrick and White One. Starting 2021, models from Pronovias and Ladybird will also be available, offering responsible and environmentally friendly alternatives for all brands.
Why are these clothes sustainable? What makes them so?
Let’s see in detail the choices of the company:
– the use of materials, such as embroidery and rhinestone decorations, obtained from 100% recycled glass or zippers produced with recycled PET bottles, eco-certified by internationally prestigious companies such as GRS (Global Recycled Standard), FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and OEKO-TEX
-for the designs creation, each ecological material introduced and used becomes a new raw material for the development of future collections
– as for the product circularity, in March 2020 Pronovias Group partnered up with Brides Do Good, a UK-based non-profit organization that is dedicated to giving wedding dresses a second life and donating the earnings to organizations committed to gender equality for a true empowerment of women and girls. The program, called #MyDressxHerFuture, offers environmentally conscious brides the opportunity to recycle their dresses for a second use for charity
– implementing sustainable packaging for its #WeDoEco models: liquid wood hangers, 100% recycled fabric labels, 100% recycled paper hanging labels and organic cotton clothes covers
– in terms of traceability, the group can guarantee total transparency from suppliers on the raw materials origin for all products. Each #WeDoEco dress sold to a customer has a final product traceability card with a specific batch number, detailing each process it has gone through.
If we managed to make you curious about it, take a look at the #WeDoEco models on the maison’s website. We hope you can find a wedding dress model that “marries” your taste and the search for a sustainable product.
